What Is iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation?
Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditative technique that begins with deep relaxation and moves into meditative self-inquiry. iRest is a form of Yoga Nidra developed for the western practitioner by Richard Miller, PhD, a clinical psychologist, author, and yogic scholar.
iRest is designed to help people learn to release stress, relax, be at ease. It has been effective in resolving and reducing issues of sleeplessness, anxiety, fear, depression, chronic pain, PTSD, and a host of other things we experience as human beings.
Private sessions, classes and workshops are available in several locations throughout the greater Sacramento area, Roseville and Folsom. Our "Home Base" is in Fair Oaks. Private iRest phone and/or Skype sessions are available.
